Bagru Hand Block Printed Throw

A hand block printed slub cotton throw from Bagru in Rajasthan, India, sold in assorted designs. Slub cotton has a naturally textured, slightly irregular weave that gives it a relaxed, handmade look, and the throw adds colour and pattern to a sofa, armchair or bed.

Bagru is a small town about 30 km from Jaipur with a centuries-old printing tradition: every pattern is stamped by hand with carved wooden blocks, each impression lined up by eye. Slight irregularities in pattern and colour are part of each piece.
